Troubleshooting
App not starting or tray icon missing?
Check the system tray and the ^ hidden icons area.
Run TextSwapper again from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut.
Check Windows Event Viewer for errors if it still fails.
Triggers not working?
Ensure you are signed in (Sign in / Sign up in the tray menu)
TextSwapper does not function without a valid Trial or Full license.
Ensure TextSwapper is enabled (check mark next to "Enabled" in the tray menu).
Check the trigger spelling and that it is at a word boundary (e.g. first character in a field, after a space etc.).
Suggestion pop-up overlay not showing?
Ensure "Show Pop-Up" is checked in the tray menu.
Pop-up overlay only appears when a trigger word has been matched.
The overlay may appear away from the trigger text if the cursor caret couldn’t be detected because of application limitations. If so, open a support ticket and we can investigate a solution for a particular application you are using.
